Storytelling Workshop for Leaders
An interactive workshop where leaders build stories they can actually use.
This isn’t a lecture about “being more engaging”. It’s a practical session where we take real examples from the room and turn them into stories that land.
Participants leave with a simple framework, a starter story bank and the confidence to use storytelling in day-to-day leadership. All facilitated by the author of The Time Traveller's Guide to Management.
International delivery available (in-person).
Who it’s for
Ideal for leadership teams, sales teams, professional services and organisations running offsites, away-days or internal development programmes.
What we’ll work on
- How to find stories in everyday work (even if you think you “don’t have stories”)
- How to structure a story so it earns attention and creates belief
- How to use story for buy-in, change messages, coaching conversations and presentations
- How to avoid the common traps that make stories feel forced or cringe
What participants leave with
- A practical framework they can reuse immediately
- A simple “story bank” template
- Draft stories built from their own real examples (format dependent)
- A repeatable 60-second prep tool: Human. Tension. Change.
Workshop formats
- Workshop-style session: typically 60–120 minutes
- Half-day deep dive: typically 150–180 minutes (more practice, more feedback)
Optional add-on: a follow-up session to refine stories after people have tried them in the real world
Tailoring
The core framework stays consistent, but I tailor the examples and exercises to your audience and objectives. We’ll use your real situations so the output is immediately relevant.
